Test Setup

We tested Intel's Core i9-9900K using MSI's MEG Z390 Ace along with 16GB (2 x 8GB) of Corsair 3,000MHz DDR4 Vengeance memory along with NZXT's 140mm Kraken X42 liquid cooler and a Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! Edition. Where possible, the same hardware, memory speed and timings were used across all out systems to ensure the results were comparable.
